Let’s start simple. SPF should be used every day. Not only in summer. Not only at the beach. Not only when it’s sunny.
Today I came to work, checked the orders and thought: “Guys… where is your sunscreen?”
Later on, the same messages will come: “What should I do about these dark spots?” Well… let’s start with SPF.
SPF is not seasonal
Yes, the sun may be hiding. Yes, it’s cold outside. But UV rays don’t disappear in winter.
SPF is part of your routine all year round. Period.
A huge part of why Korean skincare works so well is consistent sun protection. Without SPF, even the best products can’t do much.
During the day – yes, SPF again
Let’s be honest – we once had a sunscreen with clinically proven 8-hour protection.
It didn’t disappear. It just wasn’t popular enough.
And that says a lot. Even “regular” sunscreens work perfectly fine when used consistently.
And if we’re being extra honest – not only Korean sunscreens work. They’re just nicer to use, lighter, more pleasant. And that makes us apply them more often.
Makeup + SPF
Yes, there are 2-in-1 products – makeup with SPF.
Do they protect as well as classic sunscreen? Manufacturers say yes. Who are we to argue?
If that’s what helps you use SPF regularly – it works.
“I don’t have time”
Oh, this one.
No time for SPF, but later we’ll use retinol, right? 😄 SPF takes 30 seconds. Less than checking your phone.
“I don’t go outside”
Isn’t light everywhere?
Windows, screens, daylight – UV rays don’t ask where you are.
Some myths, quickly
- “SPF makes my skin oily” – not all formulas do.
- “SPF clogs pores” – wrong product can, but it’s not the rule.
- “I only need it at the beach” – your skin lives every day.

We want healthy, glowing skin – not greasy and not peeling (unless that’s the look you’re going for).
